EVER-SAVE AFRICA FOUNDATION
FREE ENERGY MANAGEMENT SUPPORT FOR GES STAFF
In partnership with Kelandrews Energy Solutions, CEWPAG & GECA
In these tough economic times, every Ghanaian is looking for smarter ways to manage their finances — and energy consumption is one of the biggest household expenses today. That is why Ever-Save Africa Foundation, in collaboration with Kelandrews Energy Solutions, CEWPAG, and GECA, is proud to sponsor a FREE Energy Management Program exclusively for all Ghana Education Service (GES) staff, including both teaching and non-teaching personnel.
This initiative will help GES workers including teachers to reduce their electricity and fuel bills through the installation of advanced energy-saving technologies in their homes and on their vehicles.
Eligibility Criteria
To benefit from the free installation, the following must be met:
- The applicant must know their average monthly electricity consumption.
- The facility must be a domestic residence (not a school or workplace).
- There must be no business operations attached to the residence.
Top 5 Benefits to Ghanaians
- Massive Reduction in Electricity Bills In a country where utility tariffs keep increasing, this program directly lowers your monthly electricity bills. By installing energy-saving devices, households can save up to 30% or more — a real lifeline for the average Ghanaian teacher or civil servant.
- Relief from Fuel Price Pressure For GES staff with private vehicles, our partners install smart fuel economizers to reduce fuel consumption. This is a game-changer as petrol and diesel prices continue to rise due to global and local economic pressures.
- Improved Household Financial Planning With lower energy costs, families can redirect money towards education, healthcare, and food — three major concerns in today’s Ghanaian household.
- Contribution to National Energy Stability Reducing domestic energy waste supports Ghana’s national grid and prevents power crises like "dumsor." This benefits everyone by creating a more stable and sustainable power supply.
- Free Expert Support and Monitoring Beneficiaries receive free follow-up and energy coaching from certified technicians. This ensures continued efficiency and education — no more guesswork when managing your energy usage.
Why This Matters Now — A Ghanaian Perspective
In today’s Ghana, salaries have not kept pace with the cost of living. Many Ghanaians struggle to meet basic expenses, especially with continuous hikes in electricity tariffs, rising inflation, and a weakening cedi. Teachers and non-teaching staff alike are affected — yet energy is something they can't live without.
This program empowers you to take control of your energy usage and reduce waste without sacrificing comfort. It is a practical solution that makes life more affordable for everyday workers, while protecting the environment for future generations.
